Project Description
Intralipotherapy
Treatment duration: 15 minutes
Anesthesia: none
Return to social activities: immediate
Area of interest: face and body
It is a non‑surgical, outpatient treatment that consists of introducing pharmacological solutions into the subcutaneous tissue to promote the destruction of adipose cells, thereby reducing localized fat deposits.
It is important to understand that this is not a treatment intended for weight loss or for addressing overweight conditions. Its purpose is solely to eliminate localized fat deposits in well‑defined areas of the body.
It is an effective and safe technique suitable for individuals with mild localized fat deposits who do not wish to undergo a surgical liposuction procedure. The latter remains the first‑line treatment for more significant fat accumulations.
- abdomen
- flanks
- lateral thigh area (Saddle Bags)
- inner thighs
- inner knees
- arms
- submental area (double chin)
- pseudo‑gynecomastia
In cases where cellulite is associated with a localized fat accumulation, this condition may benefit from intralipotherapy.
- Before starting the treatment, it is important to outline the area of interest. The procedure is performed using a specific infiltration technique within the adipose tissue, with the use of a dedicated needle. Anesthesia is not required, as the treatment is virtually painless.
The injected solution is able to destroy fat cells, which are then eliminated by the body through natural metabolic processes. At the end of the treatment, the treated area is massaged and ice is applied for about 10 minutes.
From 3 to 6 sessions may be required, spaced approximately 20 to 30 days apart. Each session lasts about 20 minutes.
The treatment must also be supported by regular physical activity and a balanced diet.
- Sensazione di bruciore nei punti di iniezione che si risolve spontaneamente dopo circa 30 minuti
- A burning sensation at the injection sites, which resolves spontaneously after about 30 minutes.
- Redness that may last 2 to 4 days
- Swelling that may persist for 3 to 5 days
- Possible bruising at the injection sites.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Egg and soy allergy
- Active autoimmune diseases
- Coagulation disorders
- Severe liver diseases
- Hyperlipidemias
- Diabetes
