Mesotherapy

It is a technique that involves the intradermal injection of traditional medications for the treatment of localized fat deposits, cellulite, certain types of alopecia, and for correcting specific aesthetic concerns related to skin aging of the face, neck, and décolleté. It can be used as a primary therapy or as a complementary treatment alongside other procedures.

The injections are performed directly in the skin areas where the condition or aesthetic concern is present, initially on a weekly basis and later with monthly maintenance sessions. However, the schedule depends on the indication and on each patient’s clinical response. A total of 5 to 10 sessions may be required.

The medications are injected using thin 4 mm needles, either mounted individually on a syringe or on a multi‑injector, which allows for an even distribution of the substances over a wide skin surface.

In the case of alopecia, the medications injected into the scalp improve microcirculation.

The medications used for the treatment of cellulite are divided into three categories: Lipolytic agents, which help reduce excess fat deposits Vasculotropic agents, which decrease edema in the adipose tissue and restore microcirculation Eutrophic agents, which improve connective‑tissue fibrosis

• Possible appearance of wheals and mild bruising, which disappear spontaneously within 7 to 10 days. At the end of the treatment, the patient can immediately return to normal activities.
