It is a treatment that promotes the restoration of cellular and extracellular components within the dermal layer, with the aim of improving skin hydration, tone, elasticity, radiance, and overall aesthetic appearance.

Biorevitalizing products consist of a combination of nourishing and regenerating substances—such as amino acids, antioxidant vitamins (A, E, C), hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides, and trace elements—which are injected into the skin and act directly on fibroblasts to optimize the production of various components of the dermal matrix, including collagen and elastin.
Antioxidant vitamins and polynucleotides are also suitable for supporting and promoting the repair of cellular DNA damage caused by solar radiation and free radicals. Furthermore, polynucleotides are capable of increasing the synthesis of growth factors, thereby improving nutrient supply and tissue oxygenation.

For patients with particularly dehydrated and withered skin, the most appropriate treatment is biostimulation with a NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) gel with a Hydrobalance effect, known as Restylane skinbooster (Restylane Vital® and Vital Light®). It is a hyaluronic acid gel capable of gradually drawing water into the deep dermal cells, providing the proper water balance required to keep the skin young, plump, and radiant.

The product is injected into the dermal layer across the entire treated area using very fine needles. The protocol typically consists of 3 to 4 sessions, performed 3 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance phase based on the individual response to the treatment, which generally involves one application every 5 to 6 months.

The side effects are comparable to those of any other injectable treatment (possible redness, and the potential formation of small bruises or hematomas) and resolve spontaneously within a few days.
