Fillers are substances injected into or beneath the dermis to correct facial imperfections and to slow down the signs of aging. Through filling, they improve fine and deep wrinkles, furrows, and skin depressions, and correct volume deficits and facial contours, specifically redefining the cheekbones, chin, lips, and cheeks.
There are absorbable fillers, represented by natural materials that the body completely degrades over time, and non-absorbable fillers, made of synthetic substances that persist indefinitely as foreign bodies in the skin.
The use of self-absorbing fillers is advisable, as they represent a guarantee of safety and biocompatibility.
The most commonly used substance today is HYALURONIC ACID, a molecule naturally found in the human body, compatible with all skin types, and well tolerated. It performs a hydrating, reshaping, and toning function on the skin, ensuring a harmonious and extremely natural result.
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers differ from one another according to the density and duration of the product. Low-density products are used to correct superficial wrinkles (for example, crow's feet around the eyes, superficial wrinkles on the cheeks, etc.); medium-density ones are used to give volume to the lips or fill wrinkles of medium depth, such as the furrows at the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) or "marionette" lines (melomental folds). Finally, high-density ones are injected at a greater depth to correct facial volume deficits (cheekbones, chin, facial contour) and to fill more pronounced furrows.
The doctor will choose the most appropriate product for the patient based on the area to be treated and the imperfection to be improved.
- Filling and smoothing of superficial, medium, and deep wrinkles
- Correction of nasolabial folds and perioral wrinkles (smoker's lines)
- Treatment of the tear trough
- Increasing volume and defining the contour of the lips
- Reshaping of the nose profile
- Reshaping of the chin
- Restoration of facial volume and contour
- Facial rejuvenation
- Increasing volume of cheekbones and cheeks
- Correction of facial asymmetries
- Rejuvenation of the neck and décolleté (wrinkle correction)
- Restoration of volume in the hands
- Correction of certain types of acne scars
- Correction of major signs of cellulite (orange peel skin)
The filler is injected using a fine needle into precise areas and with specific techniques. In cases where the product must be placed into the deeper layers of the skin, a thin, flexible, blunt-tipped cannula may be used. The use of a cannula allows for the treatment of extensive areas with greater uniformity, significantly reduces patient discomfort during the treatment, and minimizes post-therapy bruising.
The results are immediate, and normal daily activities can be resumed right away. The procedure is well tolerated, and an anesthetic cream can be applied beforehand to reduce discomfort.
Depending on the product used, the treated area, and the patient themselves, the treatment can last between 6 and 18 months. The denser the product, the longer its duration. Once the product is reabsorbed, the imperfection reappears as before and the treatment can be repeated.

At our practice, every patient is welcomed with an uncompromising level of excellence. Thanks to cutting-edge techniques and meticulous attention to detail, we offer a unique experience where professionalism and innovation unite for extraordinary results.
